PowerGate LLC has reviewed the Mean Well PLN Series of 30 & 60 watt power supplies that are designed for indoor and outdoor LED / Mobile Lighting Applications.
The MeanWell PLN series features Universal AC input; Fully isolated; plastic case with IP64 level safety approvals; Built-in constant current limiting circuit with adjustable OCP level; Short circuit/Over load/Over voltage/Over temperature protection circuits; Built-in active PFC function; IP64 rated design for indoor or outdoor installations; Cooling by free air convection; 100% full load burn-in test; and High realibility with a 2 year warranty. These supplies carry all the necessary safety approvals for indoor / outdoor use in lighting applications including UL1310 Class 2, CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 223-M91(except for 48V), EN61347-1, EN61347-2-13, and IP64 approvals.
