Mean Well’s new CLG-150 Series of 150 Watt IP65 or IP67 rated AC/DC Products are designed to support the growing demands for larger scale LED Lighting applications. These new MeanWell products feature Universal AC Input range of 90~264 VAC with Active Power Factor Correction for EN61000-3-2 Compliance(harmonic current) Class C for typical lighting applications. The most important featureiof the MeanWell CLG-150 Series is the user adjustable output voltage and current levels to better control the brightness of the LED’s they are powering. A high protection level agains dust and moisture is ensure with IP65 or IP67 ratings while still allowing users to adjust the voltage by simply removing rubber stoppers to gain access to the voltage and current potentiometers, a popular feature requested by field integrators (Type A or C models). A type B model offers adjustment via an output signal cable. Thes models have hiogh operational efficiencies as high as 90% and can operate from -30 ~ +70?C with convection cooling. Short circuit, over-voltage and over-current protection circuits are standard. Three types of mechanical packages are available, types , B or C, allowing users to select connections and IP ratings. Typical LED Lighting Applications for the Mean Well CL:G-150 power supplies include general outdoor lighting, street lamps, mid-scale moving signs, backlighting, decorative/architectural lighting, stage/theater lighting and electronic displays.
